Today....
Is the first day of my office. Really scared as soon as I entered the conference hall by seeing all the new faces and hitech professionals around me...
Thought how can i mingle with this people... There were 20 trainees including me...
The trainer Rahul Tiwari asked everyone to introduce themselves and say something what they know about the organization and its success...
Then shivering started inside coz i didnt prepared anything and i know just a little abt IBM. According to the list my name was first.. Then the trainer with loud voice said
"Ms. XXX... comeon speak abt urself and the organization". Then i slowly went to the dias with so much shivering in my legs... Then i got my mom's smiling face in front of my eyes and my dad's all the best wish... Shocked for a while then got back...
Dont know what all happened but got some energy inside my soul. Then started speaking..

"Hello one and all.. This is XXX.. I did my btech in ECE from ABC college affliated to JNTU... And i did my project in Department of Electronics Research Limited, Midhani... My project was on VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration)... And coming to my software skills.. Other than my course subjects, i learnt c++, java, and oracle (core DBA) from cmc... And when comes to my personal interests... i love dancing and i did my masters in kuchipudi, the traditional dance form of AP. And i also love to spend my free time with orphans and old people, as they are the most innocent one in the world... And when comes to the matter of IBM... Frankly speaking I know less as far and i want to learn more so after...
Although IBM was incorporated in the state of New York on June 15, 1911 as the Computing- Tabulating- Recording Company (C-T-R), its origins can be traced back to developments at the close of the 19th century. For example, the first dial recorder was invented by Dr. Alexander Dey in 1888, and Dey's business became one of the building blocks of C-T-R. Similarly, the Bundy Manufacturing Company was incorporated in 1889 as the first time recording company in the world, and it, too, later became a key component of C-T-R..
The character of a company -- the stamp it puts on its products, services and the marketplace -- is shaped and defined over time. It is expressed in an ever-changing corporate culture, in transformational strategies, and in new and compelling offerings for customers. IBM's character has been formed over nearly 100 years of doing business in the field of information-handling. Nearly all of the company's products were designed and developed to record, process, communicate, store and retrieve information -- from its first scales, tabulators and clocks to today's powerful computers and vast global networks.
IBM helped pioneer information technology over the years, and it stands today at the forefront of a worldwide industry that is revolutionizing the way in which enterprises, organizations and people operate and thrive.
The pace of change in this industry, of course, is accelerating, and its scope and impact are widening. From the history of IBM from 1880-2007, you can trace the drastic change from the earliest antecedents of IBM, to the most recent developments. The entire IBM continuum from the 19th century to the 21st or year-by year or decade-by-decade -- there are so many key events that have led to the IBM of today.
And friends I hope that you enjoy this speech given by me on myself and as well as the history of the International Business Machines Corporation that is so called IBM."
Then after me, one by one introduced themselves in their own way.... All are appreciated with the claps and laughs..
Worst Day...
Because of...
No ‘All the best’ wish from Dad...
No caring words from Mom...
No hellos from siblings and No calls from cousins...
No laughs from kids.. No flowers in my garden...
From all the above, its the worst day because atleast no reply message from my loved one to give me hope and cope....
Best Day...
Because…
When the introduction day came to wind up. Then we got the conclusion of the day from our team lead and the trainer...
In the speech given by our trainer- He gave me a best compliment that I never had... He said...
"From the all who spoke about the organization, the best speech was given by Ms. XXX... The way she explained about IBM's history was mind blowing though it was simple.. And when comes to her personal view she was so fresh and active in her talks even at the time of conclusion hour of the day. Really i appreciate her active participation for the day." (Although my words exactly don’t match those of his, but the matter was similar)...
So, Today was my Best day and Worst day... I was so happy while coming out from my job. But as soon as i came home, again same old anju started crying.... Missed everyone to share my day with so special smiles... Miss u Mom.... Miss u Dad... Especially Miss u... oh! My love...
